"We now have 4 synthesizer teams - truly amazing people who are obsessed with delivering the synths you request.
And all these people are reading here and carefully listening.
Let me say just this - we don’t always get things right as seen with the MS101 firmware bug and customers have every right to be upset. I would be, too.
But always remember that there are real people behind these products - people who truly care. You have seen that the team immediately stepped up and basically slept in the lab to fix the issue. It took them only 5 days to come up with a solution and frankly, the team was embarrassed and in despair.
GS can be a rough place which is not easy for engineers to understand because they’re not used to such language. If people want to criticize, do it in my direction as I am ultimately responsible.
I am fully aware that we’re controversial as we challenge competitors and magazines. For example we don’t spend money on advertisement simply because we don’t believe in “buying reviews”. That makes us an easy target but I believe people are smart enough to see through this behavior.
If you want true and honest feedback, always speak to people you trust and who actually use the product.
The only one we care about is you the Customer and for over 30 years you have supported us in the most amazing way.
We have the best synthesizer teams and I couldn’t be more proud of the people. We’ve got nearly 100 synths and modules in the pipeline and we’re all working hard to deliver them to you.
