Problems with mainboards and Inca 88 Are mainly due to mainboard latency



Two boards you can try are

Abit boards - Go to Bios setup and set '0' on Latency setting
ASUS P4E boards - Same as the above

However, we can't guarantee it.

You must ask the mainboard company if their mainboards provide '0' Latency
on Bios setup.
Other mainboards do not start from 0 latency.
They usually start it from 32 latency.
it can be varied by model number even it's from same brand.

It is assumed if the mainboard company provides a newer Bios, the problem
can be solved.

ESI only found a few of compatible mainboards.
They're AOPEN AX640 (Bios ver 1.1 or higher), ABit and ASUS P4E ( you should
set the latency as '0')

Citation : I just tested it out with my new Gigabyte 7 NF-RZ mainboard and it seems to work without problems.
However, I had to use the PCI Latency Tool to get it working

Citation : There's no warranty that any of the current Athlon chipsets will work with the INCA 88. From personal experience I can say the Abit NF7-S 2.0 is working fine, but again, no warranty.
