"One of the best publicized events of the show was the joint Roland-Boss-Fender Press Conference. The three giant companies have designed and developed a few products of which we got to see and hear three. Above you see the newly appointed Boss President Paul Youngblood with the two Boss pedals that emulates two of the most well known amps ever. The 59 Bassman and the 65 Deluxe Reverb. The pedals were demoed through a Roland JC Chorus with the real Fender amps beside it. You dialed in the same setting on the Fender and the pedal and then you could compare. To me it sounded very very close. In a blindfold test I would probably be wrong all the time."
