This update focuses on live playing and this new version will take Reason from the studio realm to the stage. Reason 3 comes packed with unique features that will make it a strong alternative to the hardware workstation synthesizer, whether for composing, producing or live playing.
Citation : Reason 3 is expected to ship early 2005. An upgrade discount will be available for Reason owners. Upgrade and retail price TBA.

CITATIONS :
FROM PETER : Hi guys!
Thanks for the compliments about our software tool,
here are questions and answers... Check them out...
Q. Does yours products made with Pheads colaboration?
A. No, we use ReWire but the product is developed without PHeads.
Q. Don't you be afraid that next V3, offer some similar fonction?
A. Sure, that could be! But we are convinced it will not happen:
LiveSet puts a highly featured control sublayer which is not in
Propellerheads plans. LiveSet system is a software itself and
we suppose PHeads are more focused in giving Reason new
machines or "studio" features than "live tool" ones...
Q. You probably talk about your application with Reason team?
A. Sure I did, they know about the project since the day we got
our ReWire license. Although "their silence" you talked about
they're good and funny people!
Q. Are you implyed into their business startegy?
A. No, PeterTools is a stand-alone software house
with its business and marketing strategies.
Q. How you can be sure that your software will work with V3?
A. The answer will get into techical details and implementation
schemas I prefer not to reveal...
Anyway the answer is: I AM SURE IT WILL WORK!
In the worst case we will have to provide a free update
patch to make LiveSet compatible with Reason V3...
Q. How many Betatesters are ready to work today?
A. We had 95 application but only 65 have been approved.
Even if we will not reach 100 valid betatester, the testing
will start during next week.
Q. What is the LiveSet's price?
A. This is only a preliminary information so don't take it for the final
word. LiveSet, as a boxed version, will cost about 150 euros
